Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Man, you can order it with both wheelsets ready to swap, for less than $1200. I'm no expert at sussing out components, etc--what's the catch?

Yeah, pretty cool idea, especially with the wheel swapping out of the box, but I wonder about that drivetrain. Probably fine, but just genuinely curious about its quality and durability. It might be great, will be interesting to people’s impressions.

You can buy it standalone.
Its a Sensah 1x groupset that is badged as State and claimed to have been developed in house by State.

It's sold out, but the Americana has a seriously attractive paint scheme and overall aesthetic!

I just watched a YouTube review of the similar 2x11 Sensah-branded shifters...I have been vaguely aware they existed for a while, but assumed they were hard to find in the USA for IP reasons, on account of the fact that they appear almost identical to Shimano levers. However, the shifting system combines elements of both Shimano and Sram...dual control like Sram, but using the brake lever itself, like Shimano. I’m curious about the quality, would definitely like to try them out.

edit: just noticed mstateglfr mentioned this in the other thread!
