Anyone knows how to connect an usb charging port to a shimano steps?

Hello,

I have an ebike with an shimano steps e-8000. I want to put an aftermarket usb port (like the new Canyon Neuron:ON). I found an Alibaba alternative .Anyone knows how to connect it to the motor/battery?

Thank you very much.

electrically it is very simple
you need to step down from whatever voltage battery 36V-48V to 5V and connect piece of wire with micro USB or other USB cable cut of from phone charger.to step down you need DC-DC converter. easly found on eBay, Amazon, etc.
