Greetings from Missouri
Hey, my name is Jo and I’m from southwest Missouri. The majority of my cycling time, maybe 3 years collectively, has been spent on mountain bikes in Arkansas. Just picked up my first road bike. It’s a 1982 Trek 728 and from what I can tell based on what people have to say about them I’m happy to have found one. It’s got some scuffs and some swapped out parts, but very smooth and solid. Looking forward to making it a part of my daily commute. Came to the forums to learn more about vintage steel frame bikes and find some information on replacement decals for it.

My 'fanciest' Italian would be a DeRosa from '86.

Also beautiful. That blue is a nice color. Thanks for sharing a picture! I’m still learning all the different makes and models. I’ll post a picture of my 728 when I’m able to on here. Haven’t found much on them, mostly 720s (basically the same, of course).

Here’s my ‘82 Trek 728. Suntour cyclone rear derailleur. Huret on the front. Has a nice patina to it I think. Pretty comfortable bike for my first road bike I’d say!
Also pictured: My wife’s crocheted decorations that I often get to enjoy sitting with in my chair lol. This picture probably says more about me than I had intended haha.
