Welcome, from SE Wisconsin.
I commute most days on my commuter bike. In the summer it's an eBike so I don't arrive sweaty; in the winter I'll probably start using my regular hybrid to work up some heat. My commute is only 2 miles each way though. Maybe you'll do something similar.
