Time Capsule FREJUS PISTA 1964 (pick your jaw up)

Just picked up this beautiful bike. Doesn't need much explanation I wouldn't think.

This is not a restored bike, Original as can be.

1" pitch Campy drivetrain.
Original waterslides - the white on the downtube is a painted panel, not a full decal, handlaid pinstriping, good chrome (relatively at least)
dated locknuts on the record rack hubs laced to Nisi rims
Adjustable Ambrosio Bar/stem
Most comfy plastic saddle Ive ever sat on, It gives like leather

Sadly I think it will be for sale before too long as I will be moving soon.

Thanks for looking!

That is fan-friggin-tastic. Wow. I wish it was my size so I could dream about owning it.

Ahhhh. Actually, I do know Sam. I need to get in touch with him to see if he has some parts from him for a couple projects I'm working on. He's a great guy!

If you don't mind my asking, where are you located? Are you in the Baltimore/DC area?

D'oh! That's what happens after I've had 3 or 4 shots of schnapps. I believe Sam Fitzsimmons is who he meant. That's certainly who I meant.

Pretty, but that's the strangest under-seat tire carrier I've seen.

I recall my brother special-ordering 1" pitch Campy rings in the mid-1970's and waiting FOREVER.

I've never seen a 1" pitch drivetrain, what's the advantage? Beautiful bike BTW!
