Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

May i know what brand of seatpost clamp is that. I am getting my bike set up tomorrow and noticed that the clamp is black. Im getting the
ynskey seatpost so the black clamp will look out of place. Yours looks like it matches the frame and seatpost..

Black looks out of place with Ti?

Thompson sells a silver collar.

Sorry, i think i meant to say since the seatpost is bare ti and the sead tube also has the same finish, the black collar kind ofvisually break the otherwise continuous look of the seat tube and post..

Doesn't mean a black collar can't be a tasteful break. It's not a carbon ISP.

I guess it's a personal preference sort of thing, I like it.

I just picked this up on craigslist a couple days ago. It's a wheeler frame (not finding out much about them, anybody know them?) dura ace shifters and rd, 105 brakes and fd, ritchey crank and bars, and ultegra hubs. I've never had a titanium frame before and i'm liking it.

Big frame. What are top tube/seat tube dimensions. If it is your size it was a lucky find.

seat tube is 63 cm and the top tube is 57 cm. I'm 6'3" and I think it fits me pretty well, although I am going to be redoing the stem setup eventually

Lynskey R230 with newbie "soft crash" safety padding option.

Sorry the valve stems don't line up and it's in the wrong gear.

Just putting it together tonight. More to follow.

I guess the end of June has arrived.

I am really thrilled for you.

Slightly I've two months ago, I also felt like a little boy on Christmas morning.

Ride in good health, ride fast, ride hard, and ride safe.

Don't be too hung up on what exactly the Lynskey website says about promotions or discounts expiring.

Seriously, this is Lynskey we are talking about.

Give Don Erwin a call or send him an email.

He will make you an offer you can not refuse. (hint hint)

I did and just order an R330 just now.
