Where Did You Purchase Your Ortlieb Panniers?

I remember seeing in a couple of threads in here about online dealers for Ortlieb panniers, but I can't remember which threads they were. I've done a couple of searches, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

Where did you purchase your Ortlieb panniers? Who has good prices and customer service?

I purchased Ortlieb back roller classic at REI through online website. They were on sale at the time. I don't remember where the front rollers came from but it was online. In terms of service, I have broken buckles and have dealt with Ortlieb directly. They've been good.

+1. Good prices and excellent service. When I bought mine and was having some trouble getting a solid fit on one of my racks, Wayne told me to email him some photos and then we talked on the phone for maybe 25 min. Then one of the compression straps of a rear Backpacker broke off after one three-day trip due to a manufacturing defect. I had another trip coming up soon. Wayne shipped me a replacement pannier before receiving the defective one back. (Shipping back the defective one was free.)

Rosebikes sell a co-branded set of front and rear panniers. Ships from Germany. Shipping costs are more or less the vat that will be deducted if purchased from outside of the EU.

I am certain that the touring store has increased its business by a significant amount due to the good word of mouth on forums like this one.
I bought my handle bar bag through them because of hearing about them here.

I bought my Ortlieb stuff from two sellers in the UK, but one of them stopped selling Ortliebs to USA customers, the other no longer sells Ortliebs to anyone.

I recently tried to order some Ortlieb parts from Germany, but the seller that I was buying other stuff from specifically said that they would not ship Ortlieb products to USA.

So, you are stuck paying the higher prices charged by USA sellers.

Another vote for The Touring Store. I didn't get my Ortliebs there but Wayne has helped me out with some accessories for my rack. I got my Ortliebs used off of Craigslist for about half the price of new ones. I didn't know about The Touring Store when I bought them. However, The Touring Store gets my business when I'm in need of one of the products that they carry.

REI, use the $20 lifetime membership to get 10% back in dividends, or whatever it is.

The Touring Store! I love REI and their prices, but Wayne has always been super helpful and able to get any special thing I needed. So I buy from him. Can't beat the service or the experience.

I've ordered a couple times from Wayne myself. I love the way he always puts some candy in the box with the invoice. He seems like a genuine good dude.

My Ortliebs came from REI clearance store, I had a gift card, dividend and store credit. However I have purchased several other bags from Wayne at The Touring Store. Great guy to deal with.
