Rare 1964(?) Raleigh Sports 10 speed barn find!
Hello fellow C&Vers!
For sale is a really cool find, a 1964ish Raleigh Sports 10 speed. Most of the 'sports' you see are of the 3 speed variety, but here is a completely different animal, the Sports 10 speed. From what I can tell, bike is mostly original, right down to the Brooks saddle. I cleaned nearly nothing on this bike, so the new owner can have the fun of seeing what is underneath from 55 or so odd years of dust and dirt. The bike does ride nice and is honestly in pretty amazing condition for how neglected it was!
Bike is located in Denver and I'm asking $180 + shipping.
Check out the pictures and thanks for looking!

Completely forgot that, sorry! 60cm seat tube (center-to-top), 56cm top tube (center-to-center), and 33.5" standover height on top tube.

I always look at the gearing and wonder if the world was actually flat back then? Really cool bike. Would probably have been one of the most expensive on offer back then.

It's a neat old bike and I used to really want one, but I'm trying to downsize my personal collection at the moment (except for the choicest finds).
Good luck with the sale!

Walking up hills was a more accepted practice than it is now. People want their bikes to take them up all or nearly all their hills.
