Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I couldn’t do that if you burned my entire body, captured every calorie, and used them to run a steam turbine for 8 seconds.

Hi, I would like to buy a Bianchi (I am undecided between a Via Nirone or Impulso). I would like to understand what's the best size for me. my Height is 6'1 "

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Ok, in all seriousness. I am also 6'-1" by happy coincidence, and I ride a 58cm , I can also make a 56cm work and be quite comfortable on it. So that would be your starting point.
For recreational type riding the 58cm is excellent , for anything serious I would try a 56cm and tailor the fit for your needs.
However, all bodies are not the same. your fit may vary . See a fitter for a Professional opinion.
have a great day!

Let me tell you about a little secret I recently learned about, kind of by accident.
Training actually works.
Ikr! Who would have guessed? It wasnt even structured training, just hill repeats, lots of climbing.. and saddle time.

So I mentioned yesterday it would be 60 degrees. That still stands, but of course when I can ride it’s 32.

Just had an interesting thought, as I am putting on my shoes. Would it possible to make power meter shoes? or something that attaches to the shoe so that you could move it from bike to bike more easily. And I mean a company make something not the rider.

As I read this I am listening to the sounds of my electric space heaters try to warm my tiny little office, while 2 plow trucks and a couple of snow blowers clear the parking lot outside my tool room. The clatter of rocksalt as it cascades across the icy cold tin of the exterior sheeting of this frozen barn I work in...... 60 degrees.....what a thought.... 60 degrees..... palm trees,.... hoola girls...... Mirages......
