Frame dent

Hello. 2 days ago my front wheel lift a medium size rock and that hit my frame pretty hard.
Today i inspect the frame and i found a huge dent near my bb.

The paint has been chipped, the aluminium under it seems a bit damaged.
The dent is localed at the opening of the downtube (were the cables came out).

Should i sand it and apply a primer specific for alloy for more protection?
Or keep and forget?

Here the photo were the dent is located and aldo a photo of the dent.
ps. the sticker with the searial were under the clear coat.

You can fill it or leave it. I'd just leave it. You might want to consider getting a thick sheet of thermoforming kydex and make yourself a down tube guard. 3M should have some double sided tape that should work. Easy to work with and let darn cheap.

Friend did the same thing, bigger dent, with his brand new bike. We made a kydex grave guard, covered the dent and kept it safe from future dents.

Minor dent ya got there. Clean and touch it up to keep more paint from pealing. Some frame protection like mentioned above for future hits will help and huge the scratch.

I like my bikes, but they're tools, not trophies. Ride that sucker.
