Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Adjust Reach 105 R7000 Brake Levers

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the reach on the above ... I googled and found loads of videos but wonder if they're referring to the 5800's as I can't find the hole / slot with either a screw or hex key head in it at all ... I even undid with a hex key what I now guess is probably the bit for topping up the hydraulic oil by mistake.

I've rolled the rubber on the hoods up at both the front and back and can't find anything that I think it may be.

It's probably me being a complete klutz ... but if anybody does know and there's any chance they could use something like a pencil / screwdriver as a pointer and take a picture and post it would be much appreciated.

I don't used the drops that much but did yesterday as wanted the extra stability going down a steep hill at about 40 mph and felt very vulnerable as it wasn't easy to reach the levers.

If you have a look at the video at 1.20 it shows the adjustment screw, I've uploaded a picture of mine and as you'll see there's no adjustment screw there but instead the lid of the pot I undid which had oil in it ... I'm guessing there's a difference between the types for mechanical and hydraulic brakes.

Ok, found it…I think. Check pg 55 of the dealers manual. Hope it works.

Brilliant ... thank you so much .... I'd only managed to find their 2 page user manual and there was nothing on there at all.

I'll have a proper look at it tomorrow when it's light (on UK time here) although a quick glance just now and I'm 99% sure that's it and much appreciated!!!
