It's a pretty bike that's nice and light but could use some TLC
Full Tiagra Group including hubs. STI shifters, German made Continental tires
Shifting needs adjustment or perhaps new cables - There's some rust on the chain and parts of the frame - needs handlebar tape on one side

What I believe to be a 1983 Gitane Super Corsa... I'm no expert. It does have the Super Vitus 980 tubing and to my understanding that only came in the 1983 model year.
Was going to restore it but have decided to pursue other projects instead. I purchased tires and tubes for it but they are too big and do not clear the brake components. You'll need to pick up a set of 27"x1" tires and tubes for this thing to roll.
Other than that it seems to be in riding order. Super nice Spidel components, original decals/paint... pretty cool bike all around.

Columbus tubing, very light chromoly lugged frame, intricate lugs and good paint
bike has nice parts (not campagnolo) and 3ttt seatpost handlebar and stem
fork needs to be rechromed or painted but is straight
crank, bottom bracket and pedals are great for fixed gear conversion
Size is 56 cm center to center (medium-large) for a man or woman. should also fit you if you're looking for a 54, 57 58

Bike is in good shape, Golden Sand color with gold decals, like new brown leather Masi saddle, Friko bars, huret duopar front and rear derailleurs. Paint is good, frame is structurally sound with no dents or dings. I have had this bike for 3 years, slowly building it up. Thinning out the stable, this bike must go as well as a mint 1985 Club Fuji and 1990'2 Bianchi Forza.

I have a mid 70's Raleigh Grand Prix road bike taking up space in my garage. This bike is CRUSTY! The tires are shot, it's got a bent fork, one pedal has been welded on (probably right after the fork got bent), it is missing it's seatpost and seat. The paint is there but its crappy. My other bikes point and laugh at it. I would have taken pictures, but my camera lens melted when I pointed it at this ugly bike.
So whats so great about it? Well, The frame is in pretty good condition and the centerpull brakes can probably be reused. It needs a good home.....YOURS.

Great deal.. the bike forums I went to said I should sell it for $250 - $275 but I need it to go fast so I'm selling it for a great $180! It's a tall frame so probably best for a tall person, 5' 9" or taller. The frame and everything is in great condition it just has flat tires (maybe one tire needs a tube?). Let me know if interested.

It was gone by Saturday morning. I was supposed to go see it in the late afternoon but he emailed back and said that it was sold. Too bad; he sent photos and it looked like a pretty cool bike....
