Repairing Stripped Bolts(Shimano Shoes)

Hi, Does anyone know a mechanic/cobbler in SoCal who can repair a stripped bolt receptacle for SPD-SL cleats? I have a Shimano shoe that has a single stripped bolt that I'll like to repair, if it is economically feasible ie. Shimano informed me yesterday that they stopped manufacturing the single insert bolts for each hole in 2008.

Thanks.

Years ago I intended [but never attempted] to install new cleats with new bolts with JB Weld due to stripped threads on some old Shimano road shoes. Hey, it's a cheap and viable idea.

A chicago screw might work. Get one at a cobbler or Tandy leather.
