My sister's cat Pippa, sporting a Cone of Shame and displaying dilated pupils (medication-induced) after her recent spaying:
A rescued stray, Pippa has come a long way; my sister still lets her roam the 'hood during the day, but like clockwork, she returns in the afternoon, replacing her nomadic personality with a more domesticated one. The next morning, she repeats the routine. It only took about a month of patient coaxing before Pippa realized life was easier - and the food is much better! - indoors

The shaved bits denote the spots where her IV and meds were administered; Sacha received similar 'cuffs' when I was forced to have her de-clawed. Had to put her on 'equal footing' with my ex's maniacal Calico - which was already de-clawed when she came into my home toted by her equally-maniacal cat-mom.
The one cat I really disliked

We had an utterly black cat, Shadow; we couldn't find a white hair on him. He was a big, muscular boy, really lived up to "house panther". Unfortunately he was also a bully to everyone but his mother, Gabby. They were an unlikely bonded pair; when he died after a dog attack, she soon followed him.
As a side note, I found the dog; he was an Australian Kelpie who belonged to an elderly couple and regularly escaped his back yard. I couldn't really be angry with her, as she was worried about her hospitalized husband, but he was seriously the wrong dog for them.

So far he hasn't mastered level 4 without Fritz' help.
But, level 4 is as high as it goes with these games. Next up will be the Times crossword, I suppose.

t'is a rough life to be a quadruped at schloss non-fixie!
the critters even have their own set of board games...perhaps you have some which will help Farrel to transition from Bulgarian to Dutch.
