I know the feeling well. I had to miss the Between The Waters ride in '04 to walk my daughter down the isle. It goes by so fast, one day you're walking her from delivery to the nursery, the next your walking her down the isle. By the way contratulations.

Congrats to you and your daughter on her special day. But, where are your priorities man?You could have riden early in the morning, Bikey Mikey could call you when he leaves his place at 0430 or, I could have called at 0300 when I get up, and wake you up then you will be back in plenty of time for the nuptials.

I just flashed on a great idea for after the wedding: A His/Hers tandem decked out in full "Just Married!" regalia! Everyone could cycle off to the reception!

Congratulations on your daughter getting married, and commiserations on your being the father of the bride/owner of the bills.

Congrats! I've got one down, one to go. A buddy of mine is in Denver for a wedding this weekend, and was going to hike four 14'ers - DeCaLiBron, one loop - before the wedding this evening.

I have a daughter getting married next May at a Boy Scout camp in Illinois. Plenty of room to bike, and there's a lake with canoes. I warned her she might have to drag me off a bike or pull me out of a canoe to get me to the wedding on time!

Congrats.

This past June, I gave up on a ride the day my son got married. Wife, and others, were concerned about the chance of an injury on that special day--not an injury by my fault, but some unforeseen circumstance--so, didn't ride to allay their potential anxiety.

I've got the same situation coming up in a couple of weeks except its my youngest niece getting married. Won't have time to ride in the morning due to helping with the setup for the wedding that afternoon.

How to embarrass your daughter once you have got rid of her and she can't do anything about it.

I had told her that the Tandem was being decked out for her and even decorated it out with ribbon for the bars and a couple of cans dragging behind. Wound her up something rotten and she was convinced that when I put the jersey on- the Tandem was round the corner.

Alright FR1 got his daughter married without incident and Stapfam shows a truly representin' picture at his daughter's wedding. Now I have great ideas when my daughter decides to marry the great boyfriend she has in Atlanta.

I rode by a wedding party that did just that last month. Everyone was having a grand time.

Congrats to the OP and his daughter and new son-in-law.
