Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It’s going to take a couple of miracles for the Cowboys to get very far this year. The offense is too spotty, Hell, we just barely beat the lowly Giants.

You think Northwestern's coach will jump to the pros? I've been reading rumors.

I wish we had the option of two sets of broadcasters calling the game. The fellas today had a definite Big 10 bias as evidenced by a comment with 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter that "It looks like the Ducks are going to lose their second bowl game in a row". Don't think he took it back either. He did say "Michigan State still has time to win this". #homers

I have black-eyed peas on the menu for tomorrow but no idea what I'm doing with them. Last time, I did a modified Ethiopian dish and it was good so I may do that again. What are you adding besides ham?

That whole "we didn't vet him properly" line was BS but I think many people will realize he got a raw deal and he'll be in a different coaching post within a fortnight. I am in the TV room drinking red wine and listening to Spotify. LoP is in the computer room at the other end of the house presumably playing World of Tanks. My hope is we'll meet somewhere in the middle in about two hours and eighteen minutes.
