Living in Wisconsin just about every LBS carries Trek as their main brand. Kind of like the same with motorcycles; just about everybody here rides a Harley. I find most LBS around here if they don't carry Trek carry Giant, Specialized as their main brand. IMHO equally boring.

I guess Trek and Toyota have a lot in common.
My mother-in-law bought a Corolla. It is an unremarkable car. I've driven it a few times. It functions, but does not inspire in the least. If one wanted to disappear in plain sight, that would be the car in which to do it.

I haven't had a Toyota sedan in a long time, but my memory is that what turned me off from them is that they handle like crap in slippery conditions. Don't know if that's still true.

My EX-GF's dad had a Camry from the 90s. Totally sucked in the snow.

Best car I ever had for driving in the snow was oddly a Dodge Stratus. POS otherwise. The car probably saved my life on a highway in a snowstorm when I was able to swerve around the car in front of me that had totally lost control and did a complete 180 into my direction.

Speaking of 180s, your behavior in this thread can only be described as truly weird.

The tires may have handled like crap in slippery conditions; the car handles how it handles.

That said, Toyota does not prioritize handling, but they’re just as fine in winter as summer if you use good tires.

Toyota trucks handle great.

Yes I’m starting to want to buy a Trek. I believe they make good bicycles.

I've been in the mood to buy a new 2020 Domane SL6 lately ...even though I'm a die-hard Specialized guy.

Last one I owned was a 1997. I wouldn't be surprised if they handle quite differently now. Regardless of tires, some cars are easier to control in slippery conditions than others.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone totally flip around their views so much in a thread. It's actually kind of cool.
