Hello from SF BF

My story: I bike commuted for years. Then work friends invited me to their Sunday ride through the hills above Palo Alto. I bought a plastic bike. I got faster. While visiting back East I borrowed a friend's Centurion Comp TA. Loved the road feel of the springy steel frame so I came home and found a barely ridden vintage race bike. Got another vintage race bike. Then I got a vintage touring bike. I'm a bike nut.

1981 Team Miyata
1987 Fuso "25th Anniversary"
1983 Trek 720

Greetings from the peninsula! About 10 years ago I revived an old touring bike (Dawes Galaxy) bought a new bike (Raleigh Record Ace) and shortly realized I like older bikes and don’t need things like STI shifters or clip in pedals. Now I ride a Bob Jackson and a resurrected Jamis Diablo I built up as an adventure bike.

Welcome from a former NorCal rider. Loved the rides from Palo Alto to the coast and back.
