identifying bottom bracket type needed...

Is there an "easy" way to figure out what kind of bottom bracket you need for a bike without having to come here to ask people? Im buying a new Kestrel Talon frameset, and it's basically impossible to find online what BB i'll need. Ive reached out to the brand manager to ask because Im on a sponsored team and he helped me with sizing, so Im sure he'll help me out, but if I didnt have that contact, I dont know how Id learn that info.

You need to know two things. The type of BB shell it has (a quick search pointed to 68mm English but verify that on the exact frame you are getting) and the crankset you will be using. Many of the new cranksets are external bearing types so you just buy the cups appropriate for your crankset.
