Black Mountain Cycles Monster Cross
2018 Black Mountain Cycle Monster Cross bike (58cm) for sale. Although no bike can truly "do it all," this one comes pretty darn close. It is ideal for commuting, as well as for light trails. It also can be set up for touring or bike camping. I love this bike, but the frame is not quite the right size for me, so I am replacing it with another BMC frame.
The bike frame and components cost $2,350 (excluding labor), and I am asking $1,750 for it. This bike is practically new with less than 100 miles on it (all on-road). There are no scratches or other signs of wear on the frame. I have listed all the components and costs below.
Frame and fork: Black Mountain Cycles Monster Cross frame set ($640)
Crankset: SRAM Rival 1 GXP 175mm 110 42T ($156)
Bottom Bracket: SRAM Team GXP ($40)
Rear Derailleur: SRAM Rival 1 Type 3.0 medium ($110)
Cassette: SRAM PG1130 11 speed, 11-26 teeth ($62)
Chain: SRAM PC-1130 11-speed chain ($40)
Headset: Chris King 1-1/8˝ ($145)
Brakes: Paul Minimoto Mini V-Brake ($182)
Shifters: SRAM Rival 22 DoubleTap with Rival 1 lever ($171)
Stem: Specialized Mountain Stem ($50)
Handlebars: Salsa Cowbell 2 44cm ($75)
Handlebar tape: Lizard Skins DSP 2.5mm ($42)
Saddle: Brooks Cambium C15 ($135)
Seat post: Dimension 27.2 x 350mm ($30)
Wheelset: Mavic Aksium Elite 700 ($350)
Tires: Surly Knard, 700 x 41mm ($100)

I have this exact frame but in red. Awesome bike! I love mine. I have it set up with 55mm wide fenders (with plenty of room to spare) and a front rack and rando bag. I’m running Campy 10 speed on mine.

That is a beauty. I love the wrap and saddle with that shade of blue! Too big for me.
