Which Chainrings Will Fit?

Short background. I want to change my Shimano 3 X 10 to a 2 X 10 (50/34). I confess...I thought I found the correct rings online to fit my crank arm, but the bolt holes do not match. The bike is a steel 2012 Jamis Quest. The FD, RD and shifters (I've ordered a 2 X 10 setup) are 105's. The crank arm is Shimano R565. Also, to keep it all matching I'm looking for silver colored. Is there a chart somewhere that has the compatible rings listed or does anyone know?

34t if 5 bolt is typically a 110mm bolt circle diameter newer 4 bolt is a whole different scheme..

try places like universal cycles in Portland... ? they ship ..

Probably your present crank is 130 BCD and the 50/34 rings you bought have are 110 BCD. For them to work you would need to get a compact 110 BCD crank. Another option would be to purchase 130 BCD with lower tooth count. I do not know offhand what tooth count rings are available in that size. Perhaps 48/36. I am sure someone on the forums can answer that.

I agree that the crankset probably has a 130mm BCD and 50/34 chainrings won't work. The smallest chainring with that BCD is 38t. If you want compact, you may need a new crankset.

Yep, you guys are correct. 130 mm 5 both hole is the crank arm. The rings I got are 110 mm 5 bolt. I think I misread the Jamis catalog and messed up. Time to return the rings and give up on the compact ring idea. I should have asked here first.
