Are there 2 different cowchippers?
I got some cowchippers from a local shop for my new bike and upon installing them I noticed that they feel pretty different than the ones on my old bike. Mainly the distance on the hoods feels longer and the drop feels longer with the flare not being as pronounced. The bars have cowchipper stamped on them so I doubt it's a different bar unless Salsa screwed up?

I took out the caliper and measured the ones I got and the reach is a good 10mm longer with the drop being about 12mm longer than what they should be which is why they felt off compared to my other cowchippers. The new ones definitely do not match the dimensions that are on the salsa site.

There is a huge black market in these things, given the huge, insatiable demand. Enve just got into the game, too, making fake Cowchippers.

I haven't followed them much either, but do remember there being a "Cowchipper 2" some time ago.
It was marked as such towards the end of the bar. Maybe both ends.
