Nice ride- Nothing wrong with bar and stem set up, if you're comfortable you will ride the bike. I myself cannot ride the bike with the seat way up and the bars low, well maybe if I was 25 years old again.

New Specialized S-Works as a warranty replacement for my 2 year old ones that had the screw post of one of the BOA break apart. Not bought, but new nevertheless. Both shoes were within 7 grm difference of each other. Oh, and that includes the cleats and hardware already installed not hem. They have custom insoles that weight about 50 grm +/- each.

I originally had a 42.5 size with e-soles in them. While waiting for the warranty shoes to come in, I went to a nearby lbs and 44 is the smallest they had. Turns out I was able to fit in them the custom insoles from my D2 shoes that never fitted well. The insole was the only thing on those shoes that I loved due to being a mirror image of my feet, so I kept them. Now, it is perfect in every way with very little extra room in front of the toes. Only thing I wished differently is that they were completely white with red just in the BOA and inner collar!!

I have a very similar scale that's never weighed bike equipment before. But it's seen plenty of salt and piggy fat.

Picked up a new Kali Maraka helmet to try out, and an Ultegra 6870 GS derailleur since my hack for the 9070 failed big time. Haven't installed it yet though

Just had to share this, picked it up on Friday morning at least it's on two wheels.

FYI, Kali Maraka helmet, very nice fit and ventilation as good as my Giro Aeon (two versions old though). Weight a little much at 295g but still in the ballpark with most others. I have a pretty small head and it's been tough to find decent looking and fitting helmets. Haven't put on the new rear derailleur yet although I could have used the 32t on yesterday's ride.

Bought some of the Newest Assos bibs, the Cento game changers...certainly much different than any other bib I've worn in the last twenty years but I don't know if I'm sold on them yet...TBC

Looking forward to your review. I've never worn any Assos (haven't even seen any). I'm not against spending the dollars on items when it makes sense, and frankly often enough even when it doesn't. I've always been curious about what makes them so desirable and if they're worth it.

I have a couple of their bibs and while I think they're the best of those I have tried, all I can say is you ride long enough and often enough to notice a difference, if one exists for you. I've discovered that at least to some extent I think bibs are like saddles, not one brand or style is best for everyone.

yeah I hear you. I've certainly been doing the rounds of bibs, all models of PI, Bellweather, Castelli, and our new Bryce kits (for fun) are Verge. I like the castelli's best with the progretto chamois but after one season the stitching between two section of padding has started to separate. I ride 4-5 times per week but each pair of shorts is generally in the rotation only once per week so thought they should last a little longer. I'm due for a new pair or two shortly so will try some Assos perhaps. FYI the 32t is nice in some circumstances and the stock 9070 ended up handling it just fine with no alterations, funnily enough shifts better than the SRAM which I just took off if you want another one give me a shout... cheap
