2 crits in 1 day?

got an important race coming up in a couple of weeks. there's the p/1/2, and then the 2/3 about an hour after the p/1/2 ends. we have no shot at podium in the p/1/2, because the total payout is $10k, and there's going to be pros from around the country. but the p/1/2 is the most exciting race of the night, and it'll be a good experience. Otoh, we have a legit shot at the 2/3 race. I've seen the guys who were at the top in the 2/3 field in previous years, and we're definitely at that level right now. but if we do the p/1/2 and try hard in that race, our legs would be pretty beat up by the time the 2nd race rolls around. I've done 2 races within 1 hour of each other, but never 2 HARD races like that. anyone have experience with this?

Infinit Nutrition Jet Fuel. That's all I got. The most I've done is 45+ and 3's in less than an hour and did well jacking the caffeine in the second, but that's nothing compared to what you are talking about.

took another look at the race results. it doesn't look like doing the p/1/2 is a very good idea for us as a team.

By definition if "it's important" you focus. If the hardest race was second by all means jump in. But if the goal is the result in the second race doing a race that will crush you first would be foolish.
