I have ordered a set of S3.0! Can anyone advise if they come with rim tape? Or alternatively what size veloplugs are required (red or yellow). Sean has built them so they should be with me in a week or so.

One month update. Still loving the wheels. No issues with them and I've ridden them in some bumpy roads.

MY CAAD10 3 with Soul 3.0
So far I am very pleased. They roll smooth and with 90psi and GP4000s, the ride is on par with my other set. These shaved substantial weight off my bike and whether or not there is an aero benefit I may never be able to tell.
But I feel more aero!

I put the durability of the rear wheel to the test on Tuesday.
I was out with the local club doing the Tuesday race/ride and hit a sharp edged pothole with the rear wheel at speed just coming off a hill. I did not see it as I was in the middle of the group but I sure felt it. Big impact.
The rear GP4000s went flat immediately and I had to swap in a new tube to continue. I thought for sure the wheel was bent or I had broken some spokes, but I checked it on the stand at home and everything is ok.
Which leads me to a question.
If I need spokes can I buy them?

This is true. After I purchased my S4.0's with white spokes, I thought I'd better get a few extra just in case. I sent Sean an email and some money n' he got them right out to me.

Anyone have an input on the Soul S2 vs Campagnolo Zonda wheelset. I'm leaning towards the Zonda even with the 200g more weight.

Resurrection. Wondering if anyone can make recent observations of the s2.0?

I had spokes come loose endlessly on an S2.0 wheelset, front and back. The rear hub also arrived badly in need of attention.
Edit: bought mid-2016.

Apart from one spoke break a year ago, they've been great.
I'm around 135lbs.
Apparently the most recent s2.0 has sold out. A new version is on the way sometime down the track.

Also been my every day wheel for ~3 years. Haven't broken any spokes and I don't think I've ever had a flat despite living in NYC for half that time (running conti gp4000s). I'm about 180 lbs.
