when you commute too much.
there pair of work pants around 2500 miles on each pair maybe 60 or so hours. a year and a half. I guess carhartt is not up to the job.

That's just one of the reasons I commute in bike shorts and change at work.

I prefer bike shorts and changing as well. You can always just put your work pant over your bike shorts if you're in a hurry and are going to be back on the bike in a little bit.

I did it for a few years but then I got a bent and it was nice to not worry about it. when I get home I put shorts and tights and hop on the tandem. but its a hassle to do it at work.
