Addiction LXXVII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes. Custom chain stay protector. I think he is dropping his chain occasionally and will get rid of the tape once it’s dialed in perfectly.

Notice the P2Max PM?

So I’m making chicken fricassee. I know, what am I, 84 years old? Never made it before and it’s not done yet. But little tasting spoonful of the sauce was delish.

Yeah I am aware. The Nevada in the Sierra Nevada are snow-peaked mountains just outside Granada.

That said, if you are on the Mediterranean, you can expect daytime highs around 60-ish F in the winter, which is fine by me.

Well the boat is officially under contract. We sent the paperwork back and three minutes later we got word that the sea trial, haul out and survey are all scheduled for Monday.

Too much change for me too fast. Within a 24 hour span, first I give up my coach and then my boat.

Ugh

Huh? I made every effort to not offend. I made no mention of the old being better than the new, except for me. At least 3 of you found it offensive. Was it the plastic bike reference? I thought we were past that, what with @MoAlpha's soilless plastic bike. Anyway, Carry on

We when to our local Latin American restaurant that I like and what do we see? Another person with her entourage is there celebrating her birthday! They’re all loud with rabbit ears, hats and the such, and what’s worse? Her “band” friends are on the stage singing their “original” songs and I guess, to drown the birthday party’s noise, they’re even louder.

it’s definitely been a birthday dinner I will remember for a while ...

All I wanted was a nice quiet dinner with my family ***dammit

It's not the age that kills you, it's the inflammation. Right, MDs?
