Where to ride near Sierra Madre?

I'm staying over a friends this weekend in Sierra Madre and was wondering where I could get a good 30-40 miles in nearby.

Anyone have any routes?

You can ride to Red Box up Angeles Crest and back and it would be about 40 miles.

Ride over to Descanso at 8:10 Saturday and do the Montrose ride. I think the short loop is about 40 miles and it finishes in Sierra Madre

starts steep; eases off 1/3rd of the ways, then a tad more 1/2 way- ish

sorry. i ignore that feature on my garmin

it's the shizt. of course, the REAL riding is the singletrack that lays beyond road's end.
