Raleigh Bicycle
So I've found a pretty cheap Raleigh bike on Craigslist which I'm a little interested in since it's listed a lot lower than the other bikes.
I wanted to purchase a more expensive road bike for travelling around but, I might be able to get a cheaper bike and tune it up with some more expensive parts.
Craigslist URL: https://montreal.craigslist.ca/bik/d...?lang=en&cc=us
Any input on the quality of the bike/what's a good price for it?
I appreciate all the input so much.

Without knowing more I'd say pass. The reflectors say '70s to me. I don't think you would see that style shifter on a HiTen frame set so they may have been replaced. It does look like it needs a lot of work,, overhaul the bearings, new tires and cables. If you really want it and can do all the work to make it ridable I'd go for closer to $50

High ten steel frame plus nutted rear axle = lower end, entry level or close to it. Needs a full refurbish, are you up to it? If so, it might be worth it in a hot market. If you can't do the work yourself, forget it.
