'86 Fuji Club

Just recently bought this Fuji Club for only $100, which i assumed was a great deal after looking at the catalog.
After a little bit of cleaning everything turned out pretty good.
Definitely needs new tires, I'm not riding it until it gets some.
The front tire is stock and the back tire is a Matrix CD3.
I don't really know anything about the bike besides the year and model so any information is welcome!

I was also wondering what tires you'd recommend for this bike.
I would like some tires that will have performance and durability, but also look good on this bike.
The tires I've been looking at are the Continental Gatorskin but I would really prefer something with gummwalls or just painted rubber.
The tire size is 700x25c

Thanks!

Nice Fuji. Is the front brake quick release supposed to be open?

I'd put Pannaracer Pasela tires on it. I like the lighter looking sidewall.
