Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin Edge 305 C+H deal...

cadence and heart rate version for $229 at amazon...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846

I looked around and seems like a tough deal to beat.

Anyone know if the track data is making it into Google Earth Plus, now?

That's a good deal for now. Before the end of November, you could have got one for around $275, but then used the $75 rebate offer from Garmin. I did that, bringing the cost down to $200 shipped. Fantastic.

Pretty sure the Garmin rebate deal is dead now though.

Me too - the night before actually. Just got it now - haven't taken it out on the bike yet - but won't be until the late winter.

Can't wait!

Yeah, I missed out on the rebate... bummer. $200 shipped! Well played, sir!

Mine's on the way and I'm trying to figure out if the tracks transfer into Google Earth Plus. There's no way I'm paying for motionbased.
