Remounting surly front rack

I did a brake caliper change on my Giramondo and now I have to change all the brackets to get around the new set up.

I saved the hardware kit so I have plenty of options. But I donít think I can use both triangle brackets.

Is is it better to bracket the upper and strut the lower or vice versa? Canít use eyelets on bottom of fork. Must use both mid fork mounts.

thanks!

did you ever find a solution to this?
do you have the 700c model of this bike, with teh bar end shifters and mtb crank? Had a look at the bikes spec, 2018 + one, and its a heck of a nice bike. Excellent touring gearing, nice 12 degree flared bars (I ride with similar ones), great racks that come with it.

the reason I asked about photos is because working around issues like this really is about improvisation, and each case is different.

why the change from the spyres?
