What's new for 2012 - the good, the bad, the ugly

Post pics here of new SSFG stuff for 2012. Commentary is optional.

From the SE Bikes website: "We teamed up with Los Angeles-based streetwear brand Crooks & Castles to offer an extremely limited edition PK Fixed Gear in a never-before-seen colorway."

It looks like the result of a BMX bike raping a giraffe. And maybe it has to have quotes around the name because the real PK Ripper was an 80's BMXer and this is just some kind of ill-advised tribute.

Great thread.

Oh god I'll be glad when streetwear "collabos" are over.

This will drive you nuts: https://www.unnecessaryquotes.com/

One of my favorite lines from Futurama:
[Leela]: Oh, God! Fruit is spelled F-R-O-O-T. And it's got quotation marks around it.

I knew you'd know about that site Carleton! I "love" unnecessary quotes.

Because the orignal PK "Ripper" BMX bike from the 70s/80s was designed forr pro racer Perry Kramer and named the Ripper (see here).

Thet stupid fixed gear version SE is making now has very little (aside from some aesthetics) to do with the OG model.

Yeah, but the Langster isn't called the "Langster":

the Langster derives its name from its creator - in this case Specialized employee and US track champion, Dan Langley.

Since were talking styling here, I think the fork is more egregious. Where my 30mm rake?
