Can't find hoods for Shimano Ultegra ST-6500 or 105 ST-5500?

I am having no success finding hood for the Shimano Ultegra ST-6500. Apparently, the Shimano 105 ST-5500 is compatible, but I can't find those either. Any ideas? I'm totally ok with third party copies.

If you can find any third party copies, 6500 is from a time before anyone was doing aftermarket hoods (Bracket Covers in Shimano terminology) the earliest Hudz do are for 6600

Finding NOS or aftermarket now will be challenging.

105 will work but no easier to find and if you do they are precious, try the same question over on the C&V forum where lots of guys have this problem with old Shimano hoods.

You won't find replacement hoods but you may find old shifters with better hoods than what you have. New 9 speed shifters, Shimano or Microshift, are not too expensive.

I have been looking for the 105 5500 hoods for awhile with no luck, my hoods are worn pretty bad. I had no problem buying 8spd Dura Ace & 600 tricolor hoods and bought extras but the 9spd hoods are really hard to find.
