A present from my fiance

My wonderful fiance bought me a new bike, maybe she felt bad because I spent so much on her ring. Anyway it's not a super bike but better than my old hybrid, it's the entry level specialized Allez. She put some nice accessories on it too. Matching bottle cages, egg beater pedals and a Garmin Edge 200 computer.

That's really sweet. If she cycles, you should buy her a matching bike as a wedding present!

It is small, but I am only 5'6" she is only 5'5" so she probably could ride it.

She does ride, no I would buy her a better light bike so she would have a better chance of keeping a good pace with me.

Very nice! You got the better deal - I'd take a new bike over a diamond ring any day.

When I was learning how to ride one of the strongest riders in the club taught me a lot. Part of that was that a strong rider who sets an even pace can ride with considerably weaker riders and all can enjoy it.

Learn to give good wheel, it means there are more rides you and your wife to be can both actually enjoy together.
