Bike identification....Pinarello?
Here I have vintage bike and i am not sure what brand it is. It` in bad contition and i want to restore it. I think it`s Pinarello, but it has no decals on frame. The only thing, what made me think of Pinarello is some cutout (pinarello, some "heart" outcut). all gear is Campagnolo, and actualy thats all i know for now. I didn`t find any pinarello bicycle with "bird" cutout on frame, forks, ...
Is that even pinarello, or what is it?
Pictures are bad, but can anyone help me, anyhow?

Hmmm it's probably biemmezeta if we compare those birds on frame...the only thing that made me think of pinarello in is that pump, and screw that holds seat, where it says pinarello...i will check for letters BMZ,and we will see..thanks a lot for now...

Isn't that just the generic Columbus dove? If the only place it says Pinarello is on the frame pump, I wouldn't take that to mean anything about the maker of the frame itself.

On the second image on the screw also says pinarello,but i think thats all. I'll have to go and look closely for all details...on the underside of the bottombracket i remeber there is a number 54,but i have to look if there are any BMZ letters.

Anyone else knows anything about it? I agree it might be Biemmezeta and i will restore it no matter what it is...i wonder how much will be worth,when it will be restored...just curious...

Value will depend on your skill to refurbish/restore, and just what you mean by restore. But I'd be surprised if you can ever get out of it what you put into it on a true restoration. I am thinking in the 350 range. I am often wrong on these things though.

I noticed that Cornello and Bilato have the heart shaped cut-outs too... hmmmm. today i am going to look for all of details on the bike...we`ll see if there is something new i did not see beafore...

There are no letters on frame or anywhere else...just heart shaped cut-outs and bird...i will upload more images of all decals on the bike...i realy don't know what brand is for sure

Thats the most f-ed up looking bottom bracket I have ever seen. But it looks like it was done by the builder or a home modify before a repaint. That could be a clue, but I am clueless.

so that`s it, realy no one can help me identify this bicycle? Is maybe bottom bracket something that can be a clue? today i find out that when it was bought (i don`t know, in the 80s) in was really expensive and the guy who bought it was cyclist, so it can`t be piece of junk....i almost forget...The bike is very light and it has 12 speed gear system...

26.4 post makes me think French, but every other detail is Italian. Italian contract builder, prolly, with a lesser Columbus tubing (?)

thats it, the bike is restored...it is amazing and i enjoy riding with it
