Dahon Helios XX
My Dad bought a Dahon Helios XX and basically never used it for some reason, maybe 10 miles on it. I didn't even know he had it. Anyways its a limited addition 2002 #109 of 300 with carbon seatpost and handlebar, with Sram X0 carbon 9 speed derailleur. Tipping the scaels sub 17lbs. Well he's looking to sell it and I don't have a need for a folding bike so we are curious what it would be valued at?

I believe BruceMetras has one for sale in the folding bike classified section at $1500. Might be a good place to start.
One thing before selling: The nose of the saddle is tilted way down. Level it out first and you have chances of a better sale.

Borrow it from him for a couple of weeks and ride it. Warning you may become addicted to folders. They have a certain magnetism to them. That is a really sweet bike.

The number may be based on how long you wish the sale to go. Joe's $1,000 sounds like a price it could move at. $1,500 can happen, but it may take a while. Here is a link to one sold earlier this year - apparently at that price.
You'll want to take great photos of the bike.
I have a similar but more humble Dahon Helios XL. It is a damn fun ride.

Thanks for all the help, already fixed the seat. Waiting for a sunny day to get some proper pics for sale. Took it for a ride, definitely a fun bike to ride.
