Bike bathroom

My wife found this online... I think this would be a great bathroom to shower in after the afternoon commute.

My bikes like a nice shower after a messy commute too.

I'm not sure how they'd like seeing one of their brethren hacked up and stuffed under the sink, though.

tsi, what do you use to clean the shower cabin once the bike has finished in there? Scourers and cream cleaners, or is it easy? Thanks

I've done that when I was still a homeowner.

I've found that the grease and grime from the bike sticks only to existing soap scum in the tub. If I start with a clean tub, I still have a clean tub after washing the bikes. If it's been a week or two since I last cleaned the tub, then I wash a bike, it can be a challenge since soap scum removers don't cut grease, and grease cutters don't touch soap scum.

Cool. In terms of design, it would have been even cooler if they had integrated the bike's seatpost into the sink plumbing also.

I dunno... some wall sconce lighting made with chainrings and cankarms would tie it all in better....

I have to admit that the title made me think of an oversize shower with both the rider and the bike in there together. Something about a naked guy cleaning his bike down with the shower nozzle and the associated risk of chains and sprockets with that much exposure made me shudder a little bit.....

Now let's see you get THAT image out of your head....

I know that before I have my coffee, I'd be sure to mark my shins on that pedal.

Those bikes in the bathtub photos really bring back memories. I used to live in St. Louis and I remember coming home with a snow and ice encrusted bike and taking it directly to the bathtub for a nice warm shower (yeah, the bike got to shower before me!).

My wife wasn't really pleased though and it's probably just another reason why she divorced me. My bike has remained true to me, however.

We used to shower together (me and my GF, not me and bike) while we were dating but unfortunately she didn't want to continue that (fun!) practice later in life (after we were married). Not sure why, but I don't think it had to do with the bicycle!
