What road bike do you have?

My new to me 2019 Felt FR2 Disc, my training and all arounder. Surprisingly comfortable for a race/climbing bike. My personal upgrade bits this spring have been the compact SL-K cranks w/ a new Red chain, Ritchey Superlogic seatpost, Pro Stealth saddle, and recently due to discovering a crack in the Devox oem bar...the new Deda Superzero carbon cockpit wrapped in Sticky Kush Supacaz and Supacaz alloy cages. The oem wheels are weird, they are Zipp Service Course 30s with Felt hubs? Anyhow they are solid and roll decent for OEM'ers on Spesh Robaix Pro 25/28's, they have taken some crappy surfaces without complaints. I'm however now itching for a lighter summer setup now that im working again. Tossing up between building a LB set and market options under 40mm depth.

Chinarello
I am riding Chinarello for 5 years, miraculously nothing feld apart, no major crash. I would love to know the spanish forum page where fols post a lot pictures of their purchases - pages like Road bike review prohibit posting "china fakes" (only no names)...

My latest idea of a bike.
Custom Titanium Breakaway system bike made by Waltly Titianium.
Gave it a pseudo brand of "e22" (element 22, representing the frame material )
Designed with breakaway, lightweight, compliance, long distance riding but a bit on the sporty side, and 38mm tire option

What started out as my father's bike became my covid project. My father was a very avid cyclist until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 57. He passed this bike onto me in 2009 when I was looking for a bike to get back and forth from work.
I have since put 1000's of miles on it for commute, exercise and recreation. After 11 years of neglected maintenance to the groupset the brifters began to no longer function or shift properly. After some research and DIY maintenance the darn things just wouldnt work. After contemplating buying used parts oem to the bike i've decided to go with a new Tiagra 4700 2x10 groupset.
In the meantime i've been dousing the original 105 brifters with wd40 and it seems to be doing the trick. Hopefully they work or prices on those parts come down and i can restore the bike to its original state.

I've made a couple of changes to mine recently, so I figured it was a good time to get an updated photo

i think I did too, and the wife isn’t too thrilled about it. Lol. Still need a few items like a computer, pedals, tube replacement kit (and learn how to do it), to name a few. I have a long way to go. Just did my first century last weekend. I think I did ok.

Good for you dude! You probably rode right past me, I live in Walnut Creek and rode both days that weekend. I am also super new to cycling, having purchased my 2020 Allez Elite, and 2019 Scott Metrix 10 both new in April. Building a 2019 Cervelo R3, with the new frameset being delivered today! The addiction is real lol!

thanks. I did my ride on Saturday. Left Livermore 11am, turnaround point was just past carquinez bridge. Got home around 5:30pm. I’ll have to look out for your 3 bikes next time I ride Iron Horse. I chatted with someone at the downtown Danville stop light, but he rode a Willier. I agree, the addiction is real. I’m trying to offload my Giant to a friend so I can buy a better older bike like a 2013-14 S5 or Dogma F8. Good for you that you’re hands on with your bikes. Anything beyond the use of Allen wrenches, I probably won’t go near there anytime soon. Good luck with your build; post some pics when you’re done.
