The De Rosa I listed is primarily 8 sp record as well...with a sprinkling of Chorus.

Yup, I thought it looked like 8-speed stuff! I love the vintage looks of the 8-speed Campy era. I would put some white bar tape on your orange De Rosa, to more go with the classic white Regal!

Back from a ride.
My golly, the weather in Minnesota has been awful for riding this weekend.
Here are a couple shots of my SLX after I took her out of the car!!!!
Yep, I gave up on a ride today.
Between hail, snow showers, and the wind, I stopped at 42 miles.
Threw a chain today as well, and rode the bike on some really tough, muddy roads. So it was a real mess.
Gives me something to do tonight.
....and now the sun is shining. Hard frost here tonight, so there go the gardens and fruit trees.

I'm bumping this thread because I think a member here might have something he wants to share...I'm making it easy for him to find.

The first pic is how I found it, with a Brooks Pro and some Cobalto brakes:
As it is now; the Brooks is on my Colnago and the Cobaltos are too valuable to have on a daily rider, I would hate to lose those pesky jewels

I never tire of seeing these... absolutely beautiful. I need to find a frame this winter to build up as a modern drivetrain bike (9 speed record or similar), so I may be in the market for a 54-55cm De Rosa frame then <sigh>

Stop it..... please stop it or else I am going to have to start looking for a nice red 58-59 cm frame and set of fairly modern campy to go with it.
my miyata is (1400, ultegra 9) is already jealous.

Judging from my Miyata 916 and Koga Miyata Traveker, your Miyata need not be jealous of anything!

I got my new Panasonic Lumix yesterday. It takes pretty decent pics:

Just finished 26 miles. Did some hill repeats, despite the standard double and small (for me) cassette. Made myself dizzy and a little nauseous. Hums right along on the flats, though. Saddle is weird for me (I like the Regals), stem is a 120 (110 might be better), and the gearing is not what I'm used to so it's too soon to tell. I have to fiddle with the fit some, too.

Take a good look at the 2nd picture. Notice the crappy decals? It's ready for a re-paint.
