9 speed dura ace chain

Hello all,

I want to replace the chain on my 2004 Bianchi with dura ace 7700 groupset. The XTR cn7701 is the original, but no longer available. Should i go with the XT hg93? It's ultegra, but maybe compatible with dura ace? Maybe better than the original even...?

I searched the forum but i couldnt find anything, if anyone has the knowledge i'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Joe

ANY 9 speed chain is fine. Literally any. SRAM, Campy, and KMC included.

The 93 will probably last a little longer, but as cx says, any 9 speed chain will work. You can get two sram with quick links for about the same price and it saves a cleaning at some point.

As noted, chains are not group specific or manufacturer specific.

Any 9 speed will work. I like SRAM just because the powerlink makes it easy to remove for cleaning.
