New to forums
Hello all. Just found this forum and thought I'd join. I've ridden bikes all my life and for the past 10 years have ridden my Trek 4900 mountain bike but getting older its just too hard on my back for casual rides. After looking for a year or two I just bought a Hybrid. Trek Verve 2 is my new ride and with the weather starting to turn nicer I've finally gotten to ride it. Did a short 4 miles the other day and 5.2 miles this morning just to start getting used to it.
Really like the upright position and very easy to peddle and handle. I am going to upgrade the grips on it but other than that, really liking my new ride. Hope to even try some commuting to work this year. Its 7 miles one way so should be pretty doable and our city has a lot of multi use trails that I can use the majority of the way.
Just looking around to pick up some advice as I try to log more miles and get more into using my bike to get around rather than my car when I can.
