That is very nice indeed - can't complain about those chromed lugs and pantographed fork crown.
And you dressed it out in a very thougtful and appropriate manner - Great job.

That does look really awesome. The 80s are the C&V sweet spot for me.

Love the colour. It must be nice to look down on a ride and see the Lotus branding. It will be great to see the completed bike.

It's gorgeous. JJhabbs, I don't think you own a bicycle that isn't amazing to look at.

Is anyone else noticing what looks to me to be the earliest non "Crane" Dura Ace derailleur? I've honestly never seen this version of Dura Ace group. Is this right before 7400, or..... Nice find for sure!,,,,BD

I found this entire group on an 87 Ocshner in my barn find of last march. The bicycle was built up in the late 80s and never ridden. The derailleur is the same derailleur that my buddy has on his 82 Team Miyata. Not sure of the vintage.

Dura Ace EX 7200 series. I ran a set of these derailleurs through the late 70s to mid 80s.
A very crisp shifting RD. Paired with a Suntour New Winner and Sedisport chain. Performed superbly.

That's a great looking Columbus SL-ed Lotus!
