Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ocoee Bikes - Thoughts?

New direct to consumer carbon frame brand from the same parent company that distributes Litespeed. Originally the brand was to be named Remot, apparently changed that due to some trademark issues.

The have an All Road option called the Baseline and outfitted with full 105 including hydro brakes it seems to be a good value for those of us that ride more for endurance than speed. Personally I ride a combination of pavement/hard pack gravel most of the time.

That said, of course not being able to ride before buying is always a bummer despite a 30 day return policy. I am also one of those folks that always has a bit of anxiety when considering buying a bike that is from anywhere other than my LBS. Have actually been considering an Otso Warrakin, a local bike builder from parent company Wolf Tooth....though it's probably more of a gravel grinder...

In either case, anyone have experience with Ococee? Ridden one?
