Cows don't really care about you. The stereotype of bulls being super aggressive isn't really true either. If you're their source of food, they come toward you expecting food. If you're a stranger, they're pretty wary. Just move predictably, and slow enough not to spook them and create chaos in the herd. They'll usually move out of the way to stay away from you.
