Can't delete attachment - seems like a bug...
I posted a FS message to the C&V Sales forum this morning. I attached a CSV file named derailleurs.txt, which was a plain text version of a Google spreadsheet. I later edited the spreadsheet and downloaded a new CSV file. I tried to remove the original attachment and replace it with the new version. The new one attached just fine, but the original refuses to go away. Seems like a bug in the forum software to me.

Thanks, IBJoel I want to keep the later version, which is the 682-byte one.
It's great that you will delete it for me. I still think there is probably a bug lurking in the system which needs to be addressed though...

Ok, the attachments can be deleted.
However, you have to delete them from the attachments page, and they seem to automatically disappear from the message.
The attachment will automatically be removed from the message.
However, I agree that this would be better managed through the editor.

- Go to your Control Panel (link, clicking on your name at the top of the page):
https://www.bikeforums.net/usercp.php - Near the bottom go to "Attachments":
https://www.bikeforums.net/profile.p...ditattachments - Select the attachment you wish to remove, click, on the box to the right of the attachment, and "Delete Selected" at the bottom of the page.
The attachment will automatically be removed from the message.

Thanks. Using CliffordK 's instructions I was able to delete the one attachment. I wonder why it pretends you can delete them in the more obvious way though.
