TODO A1 E-bike Replacement Battery

Hi All,
I wondered if anyone knew where I could get a replacement battery for a TODO A1 E-bike. It is my parent's bike that they bought online. The top of the battery is angled in line with the frame that it sits in. 36V 9AH

Is there an online parts shop for replacements ?
Are there generic batteries that can be used?
Thanks

It's probably a chinese parts bin ebike, so it will use a battery that other online models use, but the name TODO only comes up in a US Google for exercise bikes

For most batteries queries, either someone recognizes it as something they know/use, or spomeone has to pore thru the aliexpress sellers site, looking for generic batteries that appear to look the same,

You might put up a link to where your parents bought it, or get enough posting history (10 posts required) to be able to post pictures of bike and battery,

Thanks, Doc_Wui for your time.

I did pore through the seller's site and found something matching the picture. I'm just unsure if the site is reputable.

Let's see your sales link. Of course, it will be a risk if you buy from China, but where else can you go? Maybe the risk can be minimized.

Hi Doc_Wui
The forum won't let me send the link through the thread as I have not had enough posts yet.

Other options are to have the battery rebuilt (there is a company in Las Vegas that does this, but I haven't used them), look for a similar bike on Amazon or ebay that is sold domestically (you would need to correspond, possibly with pictures, to see if the connectors are the same) or use the connection on the current battery and mate another using the positive and negative wires from the existing system (I did this once with a DIY bike and it worked adequately).

Thanks for the advice 2old. I have found something on Aliexpress through a company called Ebike Cycling Store but am unsure if it is legitimate or just be throwing money away.

I can not send the link as I am a new user of the forum.

The possibly bigger problem (unless you know it's exactly the same system) is the battery connection with your bike's controller.

So keep posting til you get the requisite approval levels. You might also mention what country you post from.

I would only buy from a vendor that keeps warehouse stock in my country. not hard to find in USA,,
