Hutchinson Black Mamba CX+ 650b x 50
Anybody have experience with this tire or any other Hutchinson CX tires?
I want to get these as the options for 50mm 650b tires are limited to slicks. These have a decent tread and approx. weight is 490g. I wanted something that rolls well and still has decent grip off road. That said I also don't want something that has such a thin casing that it could get shredded by rocks and what-not.

Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

Of the Hutchinsons I have ridden I have always found another brand I liked a lot more. In my experience (albeit limited) they seem to be durable but are kind of harsh riding. I like Challenge, Vitttoria, IRC and Rene Herse all a lot better. Maybe this one is the exception? I rarely see folks riding Hutchinsons at the events I compete in...

Does it have to be a 50? I love my 650 x 47 Terrene Elwoods. They roll really well and still have plenty of traction for the rough stuff. I use the Tough version. https://www.terrenetires.com/pages/elwood
