Eh, someone would probably try to turn it into a bong (that was what I thought TriBiker19 was referencing when he said it was a funny looking vase - there were a lot of funny looking vases made in my high school's ceramics class). Then, they'd realize that the carbon fiber melts and it'd just be a stinky mess.

stingray banana seat - $75 (veneta)

will not answer e-mails
So, what kind of contact information was supplied with the ad? Just an e-mail address, no phone number.

There is the Google Map, but one can never trust the accuracy of that without an address.

Well he tried. There's a phone number button on the reply link, but the seller must've goofed up something, because the captcha-bot-gizmo just returns "an error has occurred". Lesson -- TEST your ad contacts before/when posting.

The wacky (well, bonehead) thing is, if he doesn't reply to Emails, why didn't he just UNCHECK the Email reply option in the posting process?

At least he didn't, like some sellers, opt for ONLY a text contact. Good way to shrink your potential buyer pool by excluding those who refuse to wear the ball and chain known as a "smart" (LOL) phone.

I don't see the phone number on the Stingray page, but there are other linked ads... where I get the broken phone link. I suppose if I really wanted a seat with a bad upholstery job, I could try it on other devices.

As far as "text only", I did buy a toolbox from a deaf person a few years ago. I think the phone call went through the assisted translator, but we made the final contacts via e-mail. "Text" would have worked.

I actually like responses to e-mail to be with e-mail, but have purchased several items with just e-mail and text.

We get a bike with the fork... er... configured that way about, what, once every two weeks or so on this thread. It could almost be its own thread. Or the world's slowest drinking game, maybe.

Or maybe an ongoing graphic, like a "safe factory" sign -- "This thread has gone 11 days without a backward fork posting."

The mower is a new one. There've been a couple postings of front-mounted reel mower integrations. But this is the first "belly mower" I can recall.

Likely there is a very good reason why so few were produced.

A Jupiter Beat is a super cool and rare machine! Hexagonal tubes brazed into hexagonal lugs! (Of course you couldn't pay me to ride one... nor would I want to own one.)

That was one of Bridgestone's sub-brands, so I think I'l mention that to the Bridgestone Owners Bunch, will blow someone's mind.
