I have a brooks B66s on my touring bike. On my Gazelle roadbike I have a crappy old Cionlli. Looking to get another Brooks or Lepper for the Gazelle shortly.
When I had my B66 on the Gazelle, I hated it. Thought it would be a wonderful idea for my fluffy Athena bum. Nope. It was the most horrible saddle ever. Switched it to my Bridgestone and she's the best saddle ever. Funny how that works out.

Brooks Champion Flyer. By far the best one I've ever owned. Did my first century yesterday and there's hardly any soreness.

Kept the Specialized BG saddle the bike came with. Tempted to get a Brooks B18 eventually. It's so pretty!

I have a Selle SMP Lite 209 on my main road bike, a Selle SMP Extra on my touring bike, a WTB Rocket V on my commuter and a Specialized Phenom (that I'll probably replace at some point) on my mountain bike.

I'm now realizing how the shape of a saddle is linked to the type of bike. My Bridgestone bike has straight mountainbike bars in the front and I have moderate lean over so the Brooks B66 works fine. It didn't work on my Gazelle which has drop bars. I leaned over way too much for that saddle and the pressure points were different.
Sorry for the confusion!

I just purchased this saddle and rode with it the first time yesterday. One of the major online retailers whose name begins with an N is selling it at a substantial discount. It is wide enough for people with wide seat bones, but it's definately a different feeling. Eventually, the saddle will be"broken in" and will conform to the shape of your seatbones, or your seatbones will develop calluses, I'm not sure which.
If you get one, will need an old fashioned straight seatpost, and I would recommend getting a 13mm socket wrench and REALLY tightening the clamp bolts down, otherwise the seat will rock back and forth in a very unpleasant way.
But I like it so far, and will give it a chance, it definately gives my Trek Hybrid some character.

I purchased this saddle a few weeks ago and took it out for its maiden voyage yesterday. One of the big online bike stores is selling it at a substantial discount. Having always ridden on the plastic foam saddles, this one has a very different feeling.
You would need one of the old fashioned straight seatposts- I had to go to a few different bike shops to find one. If you like a suspension seatpost, that's a drawback. Also, make sure you get a 13 mm socket wrench and really tighten the bolts down, once you get the saddle adjusted. Otherwise, it will rock back and forth in a very unpleasant way.
It definatley gives my inexpensive Trek hybrid some character. And I am sure that soon my seatbones will be broken in, and conform to the shape of the bicycle seat.

I like my Selle San Marco Regal, but I've been thinking of trying the Brooks saddle everyone says is most similar (I think they said swift, though someone said Team pro) if I ever get the money as my current saddle is pretty beat up.
